About Me

Hawaii elopement photographer

Hi, I'm Hananiah!

I'm a couples and portrait photographer, focusing on couples, elopements and maternity sessions. I was born and raised in Hawaii and have a love for the outdoors and the arts. Hiking and dancing are two things I enjoy when I'm not behind my lens. I'm thankful to live in a beautiful place with great weather all year round.

I'm married to this handsome man and we enjoy spending our free time going on adventures (hiking!!), watching movies, or stuffing our faces with food. We always end our date nights with ice cream because why not!!

I love capturing intimate moments for others. Many people visit the islands for romance- proposals, elopements and anniversaries. Others are blessed to call this island home, and want to showcase its glory on their special day. Whether you’re visiting, or live on this beautiful island, I would love to capture your love in its raw form. We can lay on the beach, hike to a waterfall, or frolic through the forest with you! I'm open to following you to your favorite spots, or can suggest a few of my favorite gorgeous locations. My mission is to capture your love story; the adventure, intimacy, and love that radiates between the two of you. Fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page and allow me to capture your love story.

"Capturing intimate moments for the adventurous lovers"

Sweet Words

Hannah is so much more than a photographer. I don’t know how I stumbled upon her IG page but it must have been a sign. I had done a lot of research into local photographers and selected another photographer prior to following Hannah. However, I recall seeing Hannah’s pictures and thinking that I should have gone with her instead. As my wedding was getting closer and I found myself getting more and more frustrated with my selected photographer; the lack of communication with my first photographer made me very uneasy. As you can imagine, I was a little stressed that I might be left without a wedding photographer. It was at that time that I decided to contact Hannah; I crossed my fingers and sent her a message. I kid you not, she responded within the hour…and she was available on my wedding day. I realized that up until that point I had done little-to-no planning and was getting quite nervous. Hannah offered so much advice on the beach location I had selected and how to go about obtaining the appropriate permits; it was like getting a wedding photographer and planner in one.

I had also purchased a couples photo session and Hannah gave me a list of beaches she thought would be best for the type of photos we were looking for.  Hannah and her husband work amazing as a team and were able to give us good direction during our photo session. My husband and I can be awkward and goofy, so their professionalism and experience went a long way. Hannah made the entire experience quick and enjoyable, and the pictures were amazing!

Here is where Hannah really came to my rescue. I had already been going on and on to my family and friends about how amazing my photographer was and how she really helped to pull everything together. A few days before my wedding things started getting really crazy here in Hawaii due to Covid-19. My family and friends had already flown in from Oregon where things had already been shutting down.  Hannah was all over the beach closures on island. She had researched parking locations and beach access points, as well as scouting out a backup site (just in case). In the end, my wedding would not have happened without Hannah’s help; she was my personal wedding fairy working very hard to make everything happen. Hannah and her husband were calm and supportive throughout the entire process and I cannot thank them enough.
